Day 1: Hanoi City Tour with Cyclo Ride
Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport and be welcomed by your guide for a transfer to your hotel (approximately 40 minutes). Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital, boasts a thousand years of history and is known for its charming mix of cultural landmarks, colonial architecture, tree-lined boulevards, and tranquil lakes.
Begin your exploration at the Ho Chi Minh Complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, and the One Pillar Pagoda. Then, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university built in 1070. Afterward, choose a museum of your interest, such as the Museum of Fine Arts, Museum of History, or Museum of Ethnology.
In the late afternoon, stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake and visit the Ngoc Son Temple on its small island. The lake, known as the “Returned Sword,” has a fascinating legend tied to a giant turtle. Afterward, enjoy free time shopping or walking through the charming Old Quarter with its 36 ancient streets.
End the day with a Cyclo ride through Hanoi, a traditional cycle rickshaw experience, where you can enjoy the city’s landmarks from the comfort of a leisurely ride.

Day 2: Hanoi to Halong Bay
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up at 8:00 AM for the 3.5-hour drive to Halong Bay. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the Red River Delta, with stops to photograph local life in rural areas and a visit to a handicraft workshop specializing in fine clothes and embroidered paintings.
Arrive in Halong City, check in aboard your cruise, and enjoy a welcome drink as you begin your bay cruise. Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is famous for its 2,000 limestone islands and islets scattered across 1,553 km². During your cruise, you’ll pass Dinh Huong Island, Ga Choi Island, and Sail Island. Explore the Sung Sot Cave, and enjoy a swim at Titov Beach. In the evening, relax while enjoying the sunset, followed by a delicious dinner on board. Later, try your hand at night fishing before resting for the night on the boat.
Day 3: Halong Bay to Hanoi
For early risers, start the day with a peaceful view of the bay at sunrise. Enjoy the morning breeze and sounds of nature before breakfast. Continue your cruise, visiting Human Head Island and Tortoise Island, and explore the peaceful Bai Tu Long Bay, often referred to as “The Little Dragon Bowing to His Mother.”
Check out from your boat, have lunch on board, and then cruise back to the mainland. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi. Enjoy an evening of leisure upon arrival and an overnight stay in Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free morning for last-minute exploration or relaxation. Check out and transfer to Hanoi Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Upon arrival in Saigon, transfer to your hotel and check-in. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.

Our trip to Vietnam was unforgettable! The Hanoi city tour was a perfect introduction to the country’s rich history, with highlights like the Ho Chi Minh Complex and the Temple of Literature. The Cyclo ride was an amazing way to see the city from a local’s perspective.
